Frequently Asked Questions
What time do you hold your clinic?
Monday to Friday from 9am to 8pm
What should I expect?
Once you have made contact with us and have decided that you wish to proceed, you will be offered an assessment appointment. The initial assessment session will provide you with the space and opportunity to discuss your difficulties in a safe and non-judgemental environment. From this discussion, we will begin to develop a shared understanding of your problems that will then allow us to decide what treatments may be helpful and appropriate for you to receive.
Sessions typically last for 55 minutes and are delivered on a weekly basis, although, this time frame may vary depending on the individuals needs and their stage of treatment. This will be negotiated and discussed with you during the initial assessment meeting.
Is psychological therapy appropriate for me?
People generally seek psychological therapy for a variety of emotional, relational, physical and mental health problems. Examples of such concerns include a range of anxiety presentations, adjustment to living with a physical condition, feeling an overwhelming and prolonged sense of sadness/helplessness, and emotional regulation difficulties that make it hard to function from day to day. People may also seek treatment for relational difficulties that affect family members, their partners and/or close friends. We essentially offer a variety of evidence based treatments for a range of difficulties and conditions.
